“I’ve already briefed you on the pods.” –Boggs

  1. Brief
    It is verb. Brief means to give sb (read: subject) information about sth (re: something) so they are prepared to deal with it.
    Brief disitu artinya ketika memberikan informasi kepada seseorang dan seseorang itu harus siap dan percaya dengan informasi yang diberikan. Dan apa informasi yang dikasih tahu oleh Boggs? Yaitu tentang pods dalam film.
  2. Pod
    Noun. Pod is a long narrow container that is hung under the aircraft used to carry fuel, equipment, weapons, etc.
    Tahu kan yang kontainer panjang yang suka dibawa sama pesawat? Nah itu pod!

  3. Minefield.
        It’s noun again. Minefield have means a situation that contains hidden danger or difficulties.
    Emang si Gale lagi ngerasa lumayan putus asa karena untuk menyerang Capitol itu susahnya minta ampun. Apalagi rintangannya untuk menuju markas si Snow ini emang berliku-liku.

    “Jackson, cuff him (Peeta).” –Boggs

  4. Cuff
        Verb. To hit sb quickly and lightly with your hand, especially in a way that is not serious.
    Cuff itu artinya pegangin pake tangan, sebenarnya. Tapi bisa juga ngeborgol. Disitu si Peeta diborgol karena suka kehilangan kontrol atas dirinya.

    I wouldn’t be shooting Peeta. I’d be killing a Capitol mutt.” –Katniss

  5. Mutt
    Mutt have means a dog, especially one that is not of a particular breed.
    Masih bingung saya juga.

    You always double-knot your shoelaces. –Katniss

  6. Shoelace. (noun) a long thin piece of material like string that goes through the holes on a shoe and is used to fasten it.
    Shoelace itu tali sepatu!!!!

    “Listen up. Mag’s empty.” –Boggs

  7. Magazine. Disingkat mag karena keadaan informal.
       (noun) a room or building where weapons, explosives, and bullets are stored.
    Magazine disitu artinya tempat peluru yang nempel ke pistolnya. Mag-nya di kosongin gara-gara pistolnya bukan dipake buat ngebunuh tapi buat nakut-nakutin aja.

    Those surveillance cameras caught us.” –Castor

  8. Surveilance. The act of carefully watching a person suspected of a crime or place where a crime may be comitted.
    Jadi surveillance itu punya arti mengintai/melihat/memata-matai/menyelidiki orang yang dicurigai sebagai pelaku kejahatan.
    Kutipan di atas artinya kamera pengintai yang melihat Castor dan kawan-kawan. Jadinya mereka ketangkap basah dan kena bahaya.

  9. Snap. Sebenarnya artinya buanyak banget tapi saya ambil yang hanya nyambung sama kutipan di atas.
    (Verb). [intransitive] to suddenly be unable to control your feelings any longer because the situation has become too difficult.
    Jadi snap itu artinya, gak bisa mengendalikan diri. Kadang suka meledak-ledak gak karuan jadinya ya susah aja ngontrol emosi. Terjadinya karena keadaan atau lagi menghadapi situasi yang amat sulit untuk dirinya.
  10. Treacherous. (Adjective)
    a. That can’t be trusted; intending to harm you. Synonym=deceitful.
    b. dangerous, especially when seeming safe.
    Gak bisa dipercaya, kelihatannya aja aman dan menyenangkan. Tapi malah mau nyakitin. Ciee..
    Origin-nya pun dari Old French: trecherous, trecheor ‘a cheat dari trechier ‘to cheat.
  11. Savvy. (noun) practical knowledge or understanding of something. (adjective) having a practical knowledge and understanding of something; having a common sense.
    Maksudnya punya pengetahuan praktis tentang sesuatu, kayak pengetahuan umum gitu.

  12. Interim. (adjective) intented to last for only a short time until subject/something more permanent is found.
    Maksudnya, interim itu sementara aja sampe ada yang permanen. Gak lama-lama banget. Waktunya pendek.
